work very well for what I need
These needles help me finish my projects with bulky yarn. I would have given 5 stars but the ends are not as smooth as I would liked. not sure how they would fix this since it is plastic. I might try running bees wax on the ends next time. But they work very well for what I need. Price is good.

Beautiful color. I bought this green and a dark blue to make hats for my granddaughters. It is washable wool, should be nice in the winter months. Knits nicely. I really like Madelinetosh yarns. I bought more yarn for myself.
Love Jimmy Bean products and service. Very quick turn around when ordered online.

Enjoyed knitting with this yarn
I am trying to learn more than one stitch so I used this yarn to practice moss stitch. Was easy to knit with and the stitches showed nicely. I made a scarf with one skein 5X46 is the length I got. I think I'm going to get another color to add to my scarf to make it longer. Yarn is not as soft as the others I have used but did not split which was great. first time I have purchased superwash yarn so I am not sure if that is how superwash merino yarn is but I am not disappointed. Might have felt different if i had used the knit stitch only. I'm not that experienced to be able to say.

lushes yarn
I bought the Azul Bolita and Purple Magic. the Azul Bolita is a deep bright blue, beautiful and the purple magic is variegated, love it. I am still working on my first scarf but knits a very soft scarf. looks like it should make about a 4 x 60 in scarf with one skein. Stitch definition is nice. My only problem is because it is one ply sometimes I split the yarn. I'm a slow knitter so it is only a minor issue and because of the softness of the yarn worth the care.

Forgot to say
Just wish you had more of the color choices that are out there for Baby Suri. Doesn't drop my rating but might have me purchasing elsewhere for parsley and curacao. I'll check back when I get to the place of ordering more yarn.

Soft and light
I just finished knitting a shawl for my mother. She is 92 and gets cold in the summer with the ac in church other places.
The yarn is very soft and light weight. No itching which is what appealed to me from a previous review (thank you for that information) and they are correct. I use a size 17 needle and created a very loose knit. I used a pattern that calls for baby suri yarn that starts with ruffles and end with ruffles. very easy pattern. purchased elsewhere but they did not have the yarn and jimmy bean had the yarn. Glad I found your site.
I am going to make a few scarfs for gifts but use a smaller needle size. I did find the yarn a bit difficult or maybe I should say slow to knit only because the fibers were fluffy but I think it is worth the extra time it took. I had to unravel it some and if your careful can be done but be careful and take your time. My puppy got caught in the yarn and tangled it all to H... and I thought when I looked at the tangles I would never get it straightened out but with some time I was able to roll it up. Made sure I did not leave it on my chair after that experience.
I think a throw out of this yarn would be so soft, warm and lite I would never want to get out from under it.
I am not a skilled knitter and it takes me time but if I can make something with a simple pattern I like to use good yarn and make my time worth the effort and the gift something worth keeping.
