This stuff is even better than expected! It is so incredibly soft and luxurious that you don't want to knit with it because you're busy running it between your fingers. I made a cabled cowl with it and - even though it was a multi colored yarn - the cables look fantastic. I would definitely recommend this for any project. Especially sweaters!

This is really inexpensive and turns out beautifully. It has a nice texture, great drape, and feels fantastic. The colors are deep and saturated. All around fabulous yarn!

There's never anything bad to say about Madelinetosh yarns. Soft, luxurious, beautiful colors. Knits like a dream. You always get what you pay for!

This is a nice wool yarn in fun and interesting colorways. It changes dramatically throughout the project as if it were several different yarns. Great colors!

I'm not always a fan of Lorna's yarns, but this one is amazing. The color was dreadful on the hank got it from the WW but the finished project was great. I would definitely recommend this and use it again. It is soft and lush but made fabulous cables!

This yarn sort of pisses me off. From the colors and descriptions on the internet, as well as the price, you expect a soft, luxurious wool/silk blend. I feel that this yarn is extremely rustic and unfinished which is fine for me as I enjoy that. There's a lot of lanolin left in it, which is also fine for me as it softens as you knit. What makes me sort of angry is that the color is washed out- it looks like someone spilled food coloring on the sheep and tried to scrub it off- making the Straw colorway a dulled orange rather than the vibrant yellow you see in the picture. I think if I had expected a country knit type rustic yarn I would have been much happier with this product. If that's what you're looking for, I recommend it. For more refined, chic knits, go with something like Madelinetosh or Dream in Color and avoid this altogether.

I have never felt anything this soft. I bought it without a project in mind and spent a LOT of time just touching it. It's so soft it feels like it's not even there!!!! I cannot stress how beautiful and soft this is. I did not have any difficulty with it splitting, and the color is amazing. I absolutely love luxury yarns and would definitely use this and Hand Maiden's sea silk for pretty much everything!

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this yarn. It's soft and bouncy, and the color is beautiful. It's even better than I had hoped it would be when I ordered it from the wool watcher!
