I bought some of these paper clips to support the drive for heart health. They're a delight to use! They hold well and look very distinctive. It's a useful, fun item and supports a very important cause. Sweet! :D
I bought two of these bags to use for carrying spindles. They're lightweight and just the right size to carry a nice bit of fiber and a top whorl spindle. The silk fabric is slick enough that the fiber easily slides in and out. It was extra nice that I found them on sale!
I really like this gauge. It's nice and sturdy, well marked and seems as if it will hold up for years to come. The only thing that surprised me was the fact that it's made out of a strong plastic. I made an assumption that it was metal (like my old one). That's not a problem for me, in fact, I like this much better. Maybe there should be a notation in the description to describe the material it's made of? It really is my new favorite gauge!
This is a nice, larger size bag. Right now, I've got three skeins of Mission Falls 1824 wool in it, and there's still room for the project. The pretty fabric is well sewn, but the size and placement of the inside pocket make it too easy for the (pocket) contents to fall out. I'd have liked the pocket to be a bit larger and farther down inside the bag. Overall, I really like it and would certainly buy more. In fact, I've got four of these, in both sizes and different fabrics!
I'm very happy with my first fabric purchase from JBW. I pre-washed it before cutting, and it came out beautifully. Bright colors are printed straight on grain and it has a lovely feel. It's every bit as high quality as the fabrics I'd buy at a good quilt shop. I will definitely be buying more.
