When I opened the package of this case, I was bowled over by the feel, texture, and colors of the fabric, but when I loaded my hooks into it, I wasn't thrilled. I'm going to have to stitch some more channels so the hooks each have a pocket and don't all fall out when I take one out. Clearly it's a multi-purpose case, and had I known that I may have not gotten it. I may end up making a custom-fit case for my Brittany crochet hooks, and repurpose the Lantern Moon case for my motley assortment of DPNs.
After having dropped and broken the hook off of my grandmother's size D bone hook with the turned end and the 19-cents price still visibly embossed!, I looked at my pathetic collection of mismatched aluminum hooks, and decided to treat myself. I'd been wanting the Brittanys for a long time, and I love the turned ends for when the project is resting. I've already crocheted a few small projects, and they're gorgeous tools!
