I've used it for EVERYTHING. A go-to yarn in my stash. Felts beautifully. Deep winter weight afghans & sweaters. I usually go up a size or two on the needles for sweaters for softer drape. I do like it over a tee-shirt for pullovers because even tho' it is very soft, the mohair can be a little prickly.
I was disappointed. The color density was so heavy, the yarn looked overcooked. Scarf was soft, but I'm afraid it won't hold up to wear. Fiber broke with little tension during winding which I wouldn't expect for a wool. I wouldn't buy it again.
I just finished my first project, a cowl, with these needles on a trial. I liked the flex in the cable & didn't feel like I was fighting it like some cables. Very uniform stitches but had to go up a size. Needles were comfortable in my hands. I am going to try them on a KPPM project next.
I prefer very slick needles & these are the best I've used. Just bought the set with zipper case which is my preferred storage method. Already used them with 3 different fibers & weights. Nicely tapered , sharp points. I like them as much as my antique bone needles I bought over 40 years ago. The colors add benefit by contrasting with the yarn color, my eyes love that. They are my new go to needles.
It knitted as I expect for an eyelash yarn. I knitted it with an alpaca finger wt black yarn carrier. The final fabric looked very classy but I gave it a 4 because it was very scratchy with a brittle feel to the fabric. I won't use it again.
