Bought these here in March 2013 and used the #9 to knit an afghan and loved it. Never used the smaller ones until last week I started a sweater, top down, sport weight alpaca. Got through 1/2 ball of the yarn and the wooden tip broke right off the metal part. I've used many kinds of needles for more than 30 years of knitting and have NEVER had a needle break while knitting. I've had dogs chew up the bamboo ones, I've stepped on them and broken them but NEVER have I had one break in my hand while knitting. Managed to pick up the stitches that fell off and wrote to Knitter's Pride. They say they guarantee them but that the store needs to replace them. I'm thinking why should Jimmy Beans have to go to the trouble to deal with a faulty product? NOT a happy camper
Quick, easy and fits great. Very simple and stylish. Made it with 6 skeins of cream rowan Chunky Print that has been in my stash for years. Just couldn't find the right pattern for it. This was it! Not going to do a closure as it looks great without one. Now I know what to do with the Noro Kabuto I've had in the stash even longer.
