Muench - Metal Buttons
Substantial buttons 5 out of 5
Got these because they looked like abstracted viking serpents. 5/8 size, flat but have a deep shank backing 1/4 deep. Also rather hefty. I was going to use them for a blouse, but I may now use them for either a blazer or knitted cardigan, due to weight and shank. Very happy with them.

Madelinetosh - Prairie Short Skeins
Have picked up several of these for stash 5 out of 5
While not my favorite tosh yarn lace-discontinued they are perfect for shawls - just make sure you have some vinegar on hand for the green and blue shades. Short skeins have plenty to do most shawls.

Victoria and Albert - Garthwaite
Interesting to see how will work out 5 out of 5
Bold pattern, but 'watercolor' strength so it doesn't overwhelm. Plan to use it for a retro slip dress with gathers, to break up the linearity of it.

Madelinetosh - Tosh Vintage
Nice stuff! 5 out of 5
The natural is a almost white shade, but a slightly yellow base that went very well with the bold blue - almost glowing - of the birds egg.

Lorna's Laces - Honor
Looks different than non-dyed Honor 5 out of 5
Dyed honor is more shiny, and it seemed more tightly skeined or thinner? than the Lorna's natural. Don't think the gauge is actually different, but the overall luster is, if you are planning to mix and match the yarns. But cosmetic issues really. It feels really nice.

Dena Designs - Pretty Little Things
Slightly different than photo 5 out of 5
Fabric isn't being sold much longer so moot point - My fabric was slightly different than photo. My central diamons were yellow, not purple, and the losenge line was olive not rust. But it looked just as nice so no biggie. Shame no more fabric being sold. It feels different than the stuff I get in regular fabric stores.

Madelinetosh - Tosh Lace
Lovely mintish blue shade 5 out of 5
I like using this kind of Madelinetosh lace for anything requiring neatness in stitches. Prairie is differently spun, so that's better for other things. No knots, which is nice. This shade or batch has a yellow base tone, so that may not be what you want if you are looking for a blue or white base minty shade.
