I did a lot of research before purchasing these needles. They are very smooth and knitting is a breeze. The cords are great because they are flexible and don't curl when knitting. The transitions between the connectors are smooth and stay put. I use these needles in place of the traditional straight needles. I like that the bulk of your work can rest in your lap when knitting. The connectors also are long and stay put, I have never any of them come apart when knitting. If you are looking for a great value and a high quality product you can't go wrong with these needles

I upgraded to the knitters pride needles and I love these cords, the stay flexible and do not curl up which makes knitting a real breeze.
