From the book: "This delightful cap is 50/50 cotton/wool and is a perfect weight for wearing on either side of winter. The twisted-stitch cable band at the bottom is knitted back and forth and then joined with a seam at the back; you'll then pick up the stitches for the crown and knit it in the round."
