The pattern used in this kit is from Ann Norling, and very unique, as are a lot of her patterns. You not only have a choice in size but a choice yarn sizes. We have chosen to go with Muench Tessin not only is washable but come in several great child and kid shades.
The kit comes with enough yarn to complete your project with an option to purchase the pattern if you don't already have it.
Gauge is approx 4 sts = 4" in stockinette st.
US 9 circular needles are not included.
