This adorable baby sweater was knit up by JBW's very own Sandy, who knits so beautifully and chose really great colors that work for either a girl or a boy. Taken from the February 2009 issue of Knit 'n Syle: "The cardigan is knit up the back, over the shoulders, and down the front in one piece. A detachable front panel is worked with buttonholes on both sides. Alternate panels could be designed to accommodate holidays, whims, or disasterous stains". The pattern is sized for 6 months, 12 months and 24 months. Muench Family yarn is perfect for young children - it has high microfiber content which makes it very soft to wear, not at all itchy and in addition to that - it is machine washable - every Mom appreciates that!
- The pattern is on page 114 in the February issue of Knit 'n Style.
- Pattern calls for size 8, 24" circular needles, not included.
- Gauge 4 sts/inch in stockinette stitch.
- You can follow the color choices that Sandy used for the magazine, as we have listed them below, or you can choose your own palette from the great selection we have in Muench Family yarn!
