Taken from the new Glamknits book by Stephanie Japel: "I combine several simple stitch patterns, such as garter ridges, ribbing on two different scales and seed stitch, to create a visual bang. This shrug follows the same basic construction as the traditional 'raglan from the top down' sweater without working any of the front panels. The ribbing is picked up all around the edges and worked in the round".
The pattern is one of 25 new designs in the book Glamknits.
US size 8 (26" length) and 6 (35" length) circular needles are required, but not included.
Gauge 18 sts/4 inches on size 8 needles in textured stripe.
