Taken from Modern Top-Down Knitting: "Easy, cheerful, and elegant were the three words I had in mind when I designed this hat. A band of matching elastic trim sewn to the outside hat helps to accentuate the close fit at the top of the head and the slightly flared brim, while the rich, radiant mulberry yarn provides a blast of uplifting color-perfect for a gray and dreary day."

This pattern is in Modern Top-Down Knitting, page 87.
Size US 6-16" circulars, US crochet hook E, and US 6 DPNs are required but not included.
Finished Measurements: 17.5 (19, 20.25)" head circumference.
Gauge: 22 sts over 4".
Color Shown is #13 Wine.
