Crocheting was alot more difficult for me to learn than I'd like to admit, and after hudreds of granny squares I really wanted to find some exciting projects that were still beginner-friendly. Like knitting, you can really use any yarn for crocheting, but I recommend yarns that show off the stitches nicely.
Although crochet is just catching on for Team Jimmy Beans, one by one we're all learning to do it, and love it. I find myself eagerly thumbing through the latest issue of Interweave Crochet the moment it arrives at the shop!
