It appears that at the slightest application of pressure, this stitch holders snap like twigs. Save yourself the trouble and just buy the one's from Knitter's Pride or Clover both of which are really great!.
They are so handy and slip on so easily. However, after a couple of uses, they break. I've already gone through 1/4 of the package and I just got them after Christmas and it's January 27th. Should be tougher!
Would have given a "0 Star" review if possible. These are made of very inflexible and brittle plastic. Some broke even before use. Chose something different.
I need more markers like a hole in the head but these are so cute and useful at the same time. You can even hold a few stitches when working glove fingers or mittens thumbs.
These stitch markers are very pretty, so it's tremendously disappointing that they break so frequently. The plastic they used is so brittle that when you go to "close" the safety pin, they usually just snap in 2. These colors in the flexible Clover plastic would be a dream!
They are way too brittle with very little flexibility. End snap very easier when trying to close them. Very disappointed when 5 broke within the first week of using them.
