Overall Bamboo Ewe Rating: (4.1 based on 11 reviews) |
Rating: (4 out of 5) |
This yarn knits up very nicely with good stitch definition. It has a slight tendency to split, so you need to watch for that.

I wanted to try yarn with bamboo fibre, but I should know to stay away from cheaper yarn. The plies split quite a bit and EACH skein was 3.5gr short of 100gr. Annoying! That said, it looks nice knit up into Cream of Spinach scarf and is quite soft. To me, when knit, it almost has the appearance of cotton.

I ordered this for a pattern that recommended it. The yarn was wound very loosely, Theo texture wise not very nice and it didn't look very good when knit. It was a sale item, so it should be expected I guess. I will use it for something else and am ordering a different brand for my project.

I used this yarn in several projects, both single and double stranded, and was pleased with all of them. Presented as gifts, I was proud of my work. The yarn is easy to work with and comes in nice colors.

This yarn is so soft & easy to work with! It is very warm yet breathable at the same time. Love the warmth of the wool with the softness of the bamboo!

I used this for a baby sweater and it was a delight to work with. Soft sheen that really looked great on the striped sweater. Will use again.

This yarn comes in very nice colors and at a great price. It is soft and even has a nice sheen. I made a long cowl and the stitch definition is great on this item. Near the neck the yarn can bite a little. I didn't have any knots or any trouble with splitting.

Stitch Nation has a wonderful selection of colors, is moderately priced, and so versitile as far as projects go. It is a great choice for projects for kids or donation - it withstands wear and tear without fading. I love it!
