I see a picture of a pink leaning towards the blue but what I got was medium purple. I will use it for something. Yarn is pretty and soft and a lace weight. Nice stuff

Now, I must confess that when I began working with this yarn I really didn't like it. BUT, after feeling that fabric that it creates, I changed my mind. I used it for the lining of a mitten and was quite please with the soft, luxurious fabric that it makes.

This yarn is so fluffy and beautifully soft with a great sheen and halo effect...

I really disliked the actual knitting of this yarn, but the fabric it created is wonderful. Totally worth it.

I bought this yarn to hold double with another yarn and am just amazed at how much body it added to my project - especially considering how thin the strands appear. It's definitely soft and is not itchy at all. The color is deep and rich in appearance. Love it!

This is a dream yarn, one of my favorite base yarns for knitting scarves.  I knit it double along with a novelty yard such as Tahki's Pansy (2 balls) or Trendsetter's Flora (3 balls) or S.Charles Posh (2 balls).  Any of these added to 2 balls of the Kidsilk makes a soft, warm, scarf with a nice length fringe that make you want to "pet" it.  I use #13 circular needles, 18 stitches across, and just knit, knit, knit. All my scarves go to charities for silent auctions or raffles and I've had several that have brought in as much at $75 to $100.  All my costs are tax deductible.  Make up your own "kit" and put it in a ziplock bag, squeeze out the extra air, and take it with you where ever you go, including that next airplane ride! (Yes, you can get your circular needles through security.) A kit doesn't take up that much room so it is easy to take along.

 Creamy yarn! 10 of 11

This is the creamiest feeling yarn. The mohair is perfectly distributed throughout and not in uneven 'chunks'. The silk content adds a lovely sheen and it feels like melted butter. I want more!
