It's simply a fact with Noro yarns that they sometimes appear quite differently when examined. That is not to say your yarns weren't from different dye lots that disclaimer is nearly always at the top of the yarn description on Wool Watcher.

 Inconsistent color and scratchy 2 of 2

I order balls of the yarn and they clearly came from different dye lots. One had more orange, the other more purple/grey. I paired this yarn with a fingerling weight mohair yarn but it's still scratchy. Just disapointed
