Beautiful and Easy Felted Flowers 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
I really enjoyed making these flowers! The instructions were very clear and the results were beautiful. Unlike many other felted flower patterns which require the knitter to make individual petals which are assembled and sewn, these flowers are made all in one piece as a string of petals and bobble center. The string is then spiraled to form the flower and comes together with just a few well-placed stitches at the base. I was very impressed. The 6-stitch flower made with a double strand of Cascade 220 is large and suitable for a handbag decoration. The same flower made with a single strand of yarn was light enough in weight to decorate my felted bucket hat.

Love these little bags! They work up very quickly and make nice gifts or additions to existing purses in your wardrobe. not much yarn is required, either!

Great pattern! 3 out of 5 (3 out of 5)
This pattern wasn't explained clearly when to use certain lengths with circular knitting needles. The I-cord technique wasn't explained clearly either. I'm an intermediate knitter and figured it out, but others might find it hard to understand. The pattern doesn't tell you how to attach purse straps.
