Manos Del Uruguay Wool Clasica Naturals Yarn
$16.00
|
Experience the lustrous feel of the handspun wool. The Clasica Naturals are specially blended to highlight the beauty of the natural colors of wool in its raw state. The heart of the matter here is 3 undyed colors. Not your typical sheep shades of heathery greys, either: these are coarsely blended combinations of natural white, natural black, and what the co-op calls "dark black." The resulting yarn is a single-ply of the same weight (and length) as Clasica, but with a streaky, marled look. The balance of light and dark fiber shifts widely throughout each skein, to the point where the yarn can almost seem self-striping. The undyed colors are not organic, but are minimally processed. The blended colors are overdyed. The variation in the base wool comes through to give the color lots of depth. |
