Madelinetosh Pashmina Worsted Yarn - Tart Reviews

Madelinetosh Pashmina Worsted Yarn - Tart
Tart shown $28.00
Note: Dyed by hand in small batches, Madelinetosh yarns do not come in dye lots. We do our best to visually match hanks for each order and will contact you via email if one or more hanks differ noticeably from the others. The beauty of hand-dyed yarns is that each hank is a unique work of art, so please be aware that there can be a variation in coloring, hue and saturation, even within the same dye batch.

If you have any questions, give us a call or check out our videos on working with hand-dyed yarns!

Madelinetosh Pashmina Worsted is the worsted version of Pashmina, the yarn that we all know and love! It is made up of 75% superwash merino wool, 15% silk and 10% cashmere, a similar fiber blend to the famous woven pashmina scarves. This machine washable blend is hand-dyed in small dye lots and knits up to create a soft fabric with great drape and is perfect for a luxurious and comfortable sweater.

Madtosh Amber Trinket 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
This is another wonderfully soft Madelinetosh yarn with which I plan to knit a sweater. The color is gorgeous!

Stretchy! 1 out of 5 (1 out of 5)
I knit a cowl with the color Cathedral and it turned out very soft and beautiful. I ordered more yarn in the color Mineral to knit a ribbed hat. This yarn is very soft and pliable, well too pliable. After wearing the hat for one hour it stretched out to the size of a basketball. I have no idea what's going on here but am returning the remaining skeins.

Soft, squishy and wonderful 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
Who wouldn't love knitting with this delectable yarn...it creates a beautiful halo while knitting and is so soft against the skin. Tart is a wonderful rich color - perfect for a man's scarf, for a guy who loves red but doesn't want fire engine red. Nice stitch definition, but since it's soft, it's not a defined as a firmer yarn but I think it's perfect for this project. Color in JBW photo is spot on. It seems on the light side of worsted to me. You can see my project on Ravelry under Guernsey Scarf at http://www.ravelry.com/projects/elaineflo01/guernsey-wrap-2 don't know if that link will work, but worth a shot.

Best by far 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
The blend of fibers in this yarn is simply perfect: the softness is unequaled, but it had the strength of the wool. This can be worn next to the skin and has respectable yardage.
