Madelinetosh Pashmina Yarn - Spectrum Reviews

Madelinetosh Pashmina Yarn - Spectrum
Spectrum shown $33.50
Note: Dyed by hand in small batches, Madelinetosh yarns do not come in dye lots. We do our best to visually match hanks for each order and will contact you via email if one or more hanks differ noticeably from the others. The beauty of hand-dyed yarns is that each hank is a unique work of art, so please be aware that there can be a variation in coloring, hue and saturation, even within the same dye batch.

If you have any questions, give us a call or check out our videos on working with hand-dyed yarns!

Madelinetosh Pashmina is a 3-ply yarn made up of 75% superwash merino wool, 15% silk and 10% cashmere, a similar fiber blend to the famous woven pashmina scarves. This machine washable blend is hand-dyed in small dye lots and knits up to create a soft fabric with great drape.

So soft and pet-worthy! 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
Sweater soft, knits up scrumptiously! I know that is not a word but it so describes this yarn. Love it.

Pleasure to knit and wear 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
I have already knit a sweater in this yarn. It holds its shape and is not so warm because of the silk content. I saw this special colorway and had to have it.

Ugh, the color. 2 out of 5 (2 out of 5)
I love the Pashmina yarn in general, but the colors of this one just make me mad. Too much pink! I know it won't ever be exactly like the photo, but this is completely different.

Luxurious Beauty 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
I ordered this skein just to try and I am IN LOVE. It is so soft yet sturdy and the colors and vibrant. I'm making a one skein shawl and truly in love with the coloring.

Gorgeous stuff 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
The yarn is a bit more varigated in dark/light than in the picture. My batch had a cream and slate blue mixed in with the brown, but since they were even in both skeins, it wasn't an issue. Very sproingy - and yes, Sproingy is a word.
