Masham Worsted is a hearty blend of British and Masham wool, hand-dyed in Lorna's beautiful colorways. Each fiber absorbs the dye differently, resulting in a marled look with wonderful depth of color. A warm and classically appealing yarn, Masham is an ideal choice for cold-weather garments like sweaters and cardigans.

The color Go, Sandy, Go was created in honor of a very special JBW family/staff member, Sandy! In the fall of 2014, Sandy underwent chemo to address her recurrent cancer, and Lorna's was generous enough to dye up the gorgeous shade of peachy pink, the color endometrial cancer support, to help us raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Both Jimmy Beans Wool and Lorna's Laces are donating a portion of the proceeds from the sales of this color in any Lorna's Laces yarn to Cast of Chemo!, a fiber-arts based charity that helps to "fund research that will end the need for chemotherapy in breast cancer treatment and, ultimately, cure potentially all cancers." Overall Masham Worsted Rating: 4.7 out of 5 stars (4.7 based on 3 reviews)

Lorna's Masham Worsted Shorewood 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
It feels a little prickley knitting into a seed stitch scarf, but softened with blocking. I loved the teal with grey and the visual texture of the yarn. I'd like to compare it with the same yarn in Lorna's other worsted that is is Superwash for feel, but it doesn't have the visual texture so I'm glad I went with the Masham. The yarn doesn't prickle around my neck and I'm only moderately wool sensitive to prickles.

a treat to knit 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
This is a yarn to love. The individual fibers dye differently so the solid colors have tonal variation and are gorgeous. The feel as you knit is wonderful. I made 2 hats but am planning a Masham cape. I just can't decide on colors...

Perfect 4 out of 5 stars (4 out of 5)
I knit up a beanie with the Fire and Blood colorway, and it was gorgeous. The fiber is soft and pliable, and worked up easily on size 10 needles.
