Overall Black Sheep Rating: (4.4 based on 25 reviews) |

| is it thick and thin, yes, does that add character to the project, absolutely. I have made two Declan hats with it, while the pattern did not show up especially well, the were beautiful hats. I am now on to my third project with this yarn and Jai I would recommend for a starter scarf http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/multidirectional-diagonal-scarf I am making that scarf pattern with the water color and I am loving it so much it will be for ME! |

| Love how the colorways interact with the black strand. Haven't worked with the yarn yet, so I don't know how it holds up with use or washing. |

| It doesn't really matter that much. I expected this yarn Charcoal would be dark gray, like in the photo on my monitor. And I know monitors vary, but this yarn I ended up with is almost black. But it is very pretty, nonetheless. And it is thick and thin, and there is a subtle sheen. I haven't knit with it yet, so I should probably wait to give it five stars, but the color is so rich, I gave it five stars on good looks alone. |

| I love the look and feel of this yarn, I bought blueberry snowcone and peppermint mocha. However, the thick and thin characteristic is very difficult for me to work with. Was planning on making some scarves for xmas gifts. But I'm still somewhat a beginner. Can someone recommend a crochet pattern- anything, scarf, cowl, beanie...I REALLY want to use this yarn, it's beautiful! |

| Loved the Zombie BBQ color so much I had to get it, even though I don't know what it will be yet! The Black Sheep addition of the black fiber really sets off the other colors, but at the same time, tones down the over all pattern. LL always great quality yarn! |

| I bought 1 skein of Lorna's Lace Black Sheep. Colorway was lovely but the yarn was thick and thin, as described in the other person's review, totally unsuitable with what I was going to make: a cowl. Last time I buy Lorna's Laces. I can spin better than that. |

| My skeins of Black Sheep in Watercolor range from an attractive, chunky plied yarn to areas as thin as sewing thread for the machine. I had planned to knit a "Koohaus" hat with this, but the cable won't look right and I am concerned about uneven wear.
I love the other colorway I purchased of Black Sheep, and swear by Shepard's Worsted, so this was an unpleasant surprise. |

| I am sure I'll come back for a better review once I've actually worked with this yarn. But being limited edition, I wanted to get my colors! My plan is to knit a blanket, perhaps in a log cabin type of pattern. |

| Shepherd's worsted is ever so soft and fluffy. I purchased more than one colorway to use for various gifts at Christmas. Glad to have the half price opportunity! |
