I was expecting chic clothing designs but the designs in this book are frumpy or dull. That being said, the author does devote 30 pages or so to shaping, developing your own patterns and other refinements. She also provide some interesting patterns as well as pattern charts for many of them. I'd spend some time considering what you want out of this book before purchasing it.
