I prefer circular needles in general, BUT when the occasion calls for straights, these Lantern Moon needles are the bomb!!!

I love lantern moon needles, they are well finished and easy to use, smooth and stitches move easily while knitting, not overly slippery but very smooth!

I should have known to first contact Jimmy Beans and Lantern Moon before complaining ... they both offered to help, then Lantern Moon replaced the broken needles. I've been using the replacements for several weeks (with no special treatment!): no problems. Plus my project is finished. Yay for Lantern Moon and yay for Jimmy Beans Wool! I would remove my old review if I could. :-)

I am so irritated ... I needed some light-colored needles, the better to see dark yarn on dark needles. I have single-point LM needles and liked the way they felt, so I purchased a set of dpns for knitting socks. But I haven't even finished ONE sock, and I've broken 2 needles! I've knit 10 socks this year on the other brand, and never broke one!
