I was disappointed with this yarn, it is stiffer and only about 1/3 the width of the regular flounce, still trying to figure what to do with it. Love Jimmy Bean' wool though, great to deal with.

Just finished my second scarf with the Flounce red and black yarn. Knitted on size 10 US needles with stitches spaced about every 3/4" - 1", seven cast on stitches. Looks fabulous and ruffles fall nicely. Fully opened the tape of yarn about a yard before knitting and kept doing this the whole skein. First scarf knit on size 7 US needles with spacing the same and nine cast on stitches. The scarf looks too wide and ruffles do not fall nicely.

Sorry. Misread the kit contents.

The pattern says use 2 balls of Flounce. The kit gives you 1 ball. Why the difference?

Yarn color is pretty-but the net is only about 1.5 inches wide. Two knots in the skein. I experimented with different needle sizes and different size bites of the net as the white area showed a good bit especially on the sides. Found if I knitted through the back loop at the start of each row it helped. Also small bites of the net looked better in my opinion. Not sure I would buy it again.
