Taken from the French Girl Knits book: "This feather mohair tunic is constructed in one piece worked from the bottom up, with waist and bust shaped by using progressively smaller and then larger needles. You can alter the length to make the tunic more dresslike by adding rounds before the waist shaping".
The bust sizes seem small but the pattern indicates that the tunic is supposed to be close fitting and will stretch over the bust area an additional 2-3" on top of the given bust measurement. The neck finishing is optional and would require 1 ball of Rowan Kidsilk Haze and 10.5 24" circular needles.
US 13 35" circular and US 11 26" circular needles are required but not included in the kit.
Gauge 24 sts/4 inches when measuring 2 pattern repeats wide on larger needles.
