We've knit these socks using the Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Select in Nesting Blue (the yarn is from Cherry Tree Hill, it was dyed by the Indie Dyer). You can watch our progress by clicking here. The actual knitting isn't difficult, but you do need to dedicate some time and brain power to understanding the directions. You'll be glad you did!
The pattern is on page 59 of the book.
We're using US 2 DPN needles, not included.
Gauge 8 sts/inch in stockinette stitch.
According to the book, you can really use any size needle/gauge that you'd like. Just make sure follow the directions and perform the math to figure out how many stitches to cast on, etc...
