Sure to be a fun and creative knit, a tunic like this never goes out of style. From the book, Fitted Knits: "Who says you have to knit from the top or the bottom to get beautiful results? Just by changing the direction of your knitting you can add a sense of freshness to your projects. The garter rows in this side-to-side knit create flattering vertical lines that complement the long and lean shape of this tunic top.
This tee is knit from side-to-side, using short rows to shape the hips and the neckline. Buttons at the shoulder can be buttoned or not, allowing the top to hang asymmetrically off of one shoulder. To recreate this stitch pattern, simply work a random series of knits and purls, 'Morse Code' style. This piece is knit from Cascade Pima Tencel for warm weather comfort and a beautiful hand".
