Knit the hat or the blanket or knit both! Taken from the Natural Knits for Babies and Moms book: "This easy-to-knit blanket and hat combination makes a great gift for a new baby. Both are useful and practical and, knitted in soft organic yarns, as delicate as the newborn wrapped within".
To knit the hat alone, less than one skein of BSA Organic Worsted Cotton is required. To knit the blanket alone, three skeins are required. To knit both the hat and the blanket, three skeins total of BSA Organic Cotton are required.
Finished Hat Measurements: 14.25" circumference
Finished Blanket Measurements: 18" wide and 24" long.
Gauge: 16 sts/4 inches.
US 7 and 8 straight needles.
