This yarn crocheted up into a nice hat and matching scarf. I was very pleased with the texture and consistency of this yarn. It will likely become a staple in my project bags!

I love the texture and color of the yarn, but I thought the quality lacking. Three times on my cast on, the yarn broke--that's NEVER happened to me before and I knit A LOT! It was also a bit scratchy, but I've been using a lot of Madelinetosh and Malabrigo lately so it's hard to match that. My finished hats look nice, but I'm moving on to other yarn.

After 2 years of knitting baby gifts and a few top down sweaters for myself, I wanted something a little more challenging. This was the perfect project! The pattern is easy to follow and is interesting without being difficult. This was my first time doing cables and they were surprisingly fun and easy. The yarn is very easy to work with. There is some finish work, but I used single crochet for the seams, which worked beautifully. I loved the entire process of creating this very cute sweater vest. Thanks, Jimmy Beans, for the great kit, and for your always wonderful service!
