This is actually not a solid color, though it reads as solid from a few feet away. It's more of a blue background with a green patterning.

but would have loved a crochet pattern with the yarn for the golf club head covers. I really wanted to make those. Good quality yarn for the price.

I made a scarf for my son from this -- it looks great. The tweed is very subtle and looks really nice. I thought it was a little stiff, but it softened up once I blocked it.

This is a nice basic yarn. It has a good sticky feel, so stitches don't slip.

Am just finishing up a cabled beret using the Cascade 220 in Maize. It shows off the cables beautifully and is very, very nice to knit with. The color Maize actually has a bit more pale yellowy gold than the photo shows - more like a good corn muffin color - and is VERY pretty in person (but not tan like it shows up on my monitor). Will be purchasing more colors- found a free pattern from Jared Flood for his Turn A Square hat (cap) that uses the Cascade 220 and Noro Silk Garden Light (for the stripes in the hat).
