I needed a chunky yarn, washable, and soft to make Jared Flood's fabulous Wool Leaves baby blanket. Cascade 128 Superwash did the trick. It was wonderful to work with, and the mom-to-be not a knitter thought it was the softest most baby-delious blanket ever!

I really like this colorway. However, in person it doesn't have the sheen as in the photograph. Not as soft as the heather colorways, but still pretty soft. I LOVE JBW!!!

This chunky is soft and squishy and the colors are fabulous. One of my all-time favorites.

Beautiful yarn in gorgeous colors! I think they will be perfectly cozy and durable for the pillows and blanket that I'm knitting. Haven't washed it yet... but with 3 kids, I'm hoping it holds up.
