This is wonderful yarn, easy to work with and beautiful in color. It is exactly what I looking for in the garment I am making with it. Jimmy Beans Wool shipped it quickly and it arrived before I had even purchased the correct needle size.

Burlyspun is a wonderfully smooth single-ply wool yarn. I saw it in my local yarn store, and couldn't stop scrunching my fingers into the skeins. The wool is surprisingly soft and has a lot of spring. It knits up beautifully - thick, not a ton of drape. The wrapper suggests size 13 needles; I think Jimmy Beans' information (size 15) might work better. I am making a large blanket out of this yarn. For projects, figure 300 square inches per skein in garter stitch.
