Ok not the softest I have handled

This yarn knits up so beautifully and makes a great pattern. My son loves the socks.
Rating: (5 out of 5) |
This yarn is wonderful to knit with no splitting and the socks look as if they were made in 1942. They are so nice once knitted. I haven't had any experience of how well they wash since they were gifts.

Great colors, warm, just not quite as soft as I was hoping.

I've made several pairs of socks with Berroco Sox Yarn, and it's reliably good to work with.

The yarn is easy to work with and produces a wonderful -- and eye-catching -- pair of socks!

I LOVE this yarn. I made a pair of socks with it, my first attempt at socks with heels. They turned out GREAT. The intricate visual pattern created by the yarn as it was knit in the round in stockinette stitch was incredible. The colors are great and the process of creating the socks was fun, fun, fun! I was able to make the two socks match by starting with the same color sequence for each sock but you wouldn't have to do that.
