Overall Lago Rating: 4.8 out of 5 (4.8 based on 4 reviews)

Beautiful yarn, but hard to find projects for. 4 out of 5 (4 out of 5)
I bought this on sale and absolutely love to look at it. The problem is that I can't find a project to use it for! Because it is somewhat thick-and-thin, and has virtually no give, it needs just the right project to make it work. I would definitely recommend this yarn, but I would find the right item to knit before purchasing it. I imagine that its qualities will give it excellent drape, making it more useful for a scarf than a cowl... and I am not certain that its fiber content would make a knitted sweater that doesn't sag or lose its shape.

Not typical thick-and-thin yarn - love it! 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
Unlike most thick-and-thin yarns which to me look as if they were spun by accident, Berroco Lago has slight oval bumps evenly spaced at one-inch intervals, making it much easier to crochet with an even tension. It has a slight sheen. I crocheted a cardigan with it and it looks great and drapes well. Be aware there is very little stretch with this yarn when choosing your project. Overall, a very lovely yarn to work with.
