nice 4 out of 5 (4 out of 5)
It's a very soft yarn, and the fact that the acrylic parts of the yarn are the colored shades adds a glimmer that you wouldn't see otherwise. My only peeve is that there was a piece that had been tied in a loose knot and when I pulled to test it it easily came apart. I'm sure this either is not usually the case, or is the norm, but imagine if I hadn't caught it and it ripped later on.

Berroco Borealis Yarn 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
This yarn is fabulous. Very soft with stricking coloration. Even prettier knitted up. Can't say enough great things about this yarn. Will definitely buy additional colorways.

Knitting with Borealis 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
This is a beautiful yarn with a very soft hand to it. It knits up very quickly. this is the 2nd sweater I've made with it and each in a completely different kind of pattern so it has versatility also. I love it.

Great yarn 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
This is a gorgeous yarn. The colors are like pearls--rich, shiny, faceted, even prettier than the pictures show. The yarn is very soft and gentle on the hands. It is like a roving yarn in that it isn't heavily twisted or plied, but I like that aspect very much. I've tried several of the colors and have been thrilled with all of them. These make quick hats and scarves, great for gifts. Unlike many bulk yarns I've tried, I am able to get a nice drape and solid fabric at the stated gauge. One skein is plenty for an adult hat.

The Berroco Borealis yarn knits up well, and its bulk makes the project move quickly. Love the colors of this yarn!
