Once I saw these fingerless gloves, I immediately fell in love! I've never even done fair-isle before but once I cast on I realized how easy it is-as long as you pay attention that is! The pattern originally called for a DK weight but since I LOVE variegated yarns, I thought it would be really neat to have the leaves and flowers as a color changing yarn. Plus, I have freakishly small hands. I chose two colors of the
Mini Mochi by Crystal Palace paired with a
Mini Solid in white. I decided to stay at a US 2 since I do have such small hands-so I'd suggest going up a size or two if you want to use a fingering weight yarn. The leaf pattern is really easy to remember and once you get going, you won't want to stop! I've been enjoying watching the leaves change colors as I go and I can't wait to put these mitts on!
