| Our Tosh Merino Light Tea Cakes were such a hit that we couldn't help but create a DK version! Now you can snag sets of your favorite colors in mini "cakes" of Tosh DK! Each set of DK Tea Cakes comes with 15 yards each of 12 different colors of Tosh DK, arranged in a bakery box with a bag of tea and a Biscoff cookie to complete your tea party. |
Also included with each box of Tea Cakes is a code to download the Modicum Hat pattern designed especially for these samplers by Rachel of Unraveled Designs. Rachel created this hat to match the Modicum Mitts, which were made with the Tosh Merino Light Tea Cakes, so now you can have a matching set! Tosh DK Tea Cakes are available in Berry Blackcurrant, Red Velvet Rooibos, Mojito Mint Green, Lemon Ginger, Chai Spice, and Earl Gray "flavors." | |
Also new in the Tosh world is their latest yarn, Home. Home is a bulky-weight 2-ply of deliciously squishy superwash merino perfect for quick projects such as hats and cowls like the Cinder Cowl from Brooklyn Tweed or the Animal Hats from Knitting Pure and Simple. Not only that, but Tosh just released a slew of new colors (including neons!) that make this, and all of their yarns, even more fun! Be sure to check out these new colors in all of their yarn bases! |

Can you believe it? Ten whole years have passed since we moved from our teeny little shop in Truckee, CA to our first store in Reno, NV. Reno, you've been good to us, and we wanted to take a day to celebrate all of you who have made our success here possible! Stop into the shop on Saturday, July 26th for a fun in-store event with us (Jimmy included) and special guest Susan Gibbs, owner of Juniper Moon Farm! Susan will be here from 11am-1pm to talk about her journey from network news production to full time sheep farmer. We'll also have snacks, door prizes, AND the first 25 people to RSVP will receive a very special goodie bag. In the afternoon, join us from 2-4pm for a complimentary knitting class to make one of Juniper Moon's patterns with Terry! Please RSVP for the event and/or the class by calling: 775-827-9276 or e-mailing our shop. Hope to see you all there! |

Anniversaries are the perfect time to give (and receive) something extra special, and for a knitter, what could be more special than an exquisite yarn bouquet to honor the major marital landmarks like 1st, 5th, 10th, 25th, and 50th wedding anniversaries!?!? We've partnered with Fyberspates to bring you these five lovely bouquets inspired by the time-honored traditional gifts for those occasions. Choose from Paper (1st), Wood (5th), Diamond (10th), Silver (25th), or Gold (50th). Each bouquet comes with three silky skeins of Fyberspates Scrumptious DK/Worsted arranged in a pretty glass vase atop knitting needle "stems." Additionally, you'll receive unique-to-JBW matching hat and wrist warmer patterns to knit with your special anniversary yarn! To go along with the Anniversary yarn bouquets, we've also created a Limited Edition collection of Anniversary Fabric Bouquets, available while supplies last. |

We know you look fors from us - as part of our never-ending quest to bring you the best all-around shopping experience, we have initiated Phase 1 of upgrading our packaging protocol. Many of you have given us your thoughts and feedback on ways to improve (thank you!), and this summer we're starting to implement those suggestions. If you've received an order from us in the post within the past month or so, you may have noticed your yarn, books, and notions efficiently arranged (so your yarn can travel in comfort), bagged (to help avoid yarn harm in its journey to you), and sealed with a JBW sticker (because stickers are awesome!). We've got more fun packaging plans in the works, so stay tuned for the next innovation!
